Welcome and thank you for visiting our website.  Vietnamese-American Community of Grand Rapids & Surroundings is a not for profit organization.  None of our staff including the president and two vice-presidents get paid.  We are 100% volunteering based organization with an objective to build a more united, stronger and healthier community.

We have many community programs and projects that can not be done without people like you.  These including but not limited to:

  • Citizenship Class where we help permanent residents to be come U.S. citizen.
  • English Class where we teach basic English skill to the elderly and the new comers.
  • Healthcare where we connect individuals with healthcare providers.
  • Cultural Preservation & Community Pride thru many cultural events throughout the year.
  • Voter Registration where we help our new citizens to participate local, state and federal elections

We as a community is very thankful and proud of our new adopted homeland – the United States of America.  The ultimate end goal of our organization is to build a strong and a proud Vietnamese-American Community here in West Michigan and in the end – a stronger and a more proud United States of America.
